Here are the results of the WWP/ APWA show from the 16th of December

The night started with special guest host of the evening Errol Weideman also known as Mr. Bones entertaining the crowd with his jokes and tricks, but it wasn’t long before Ananzi came out and somehow managed to convince the team of Scared Ice, Johnny Sabin and Vic Scar, that if he is putting up his WWP All Africa Title Belt up for grabs in the main event ladder match then it is only fitting that they put up their WWP tag team championships on the line too, literally as the belts will be hung from a line across the ceiling.

So we are informed that the main event will be a “Winner Takes All” Ladder Match with all three titles up for grabs.

After a shocking start to the show things only got more exciting as a new team of wrestlers came out to establish themselves, or should I rather say a new generation.

The team consisted of Three of the rookies we have seen in the past couple of months, It was Lead by the always politically correct SA Face and he was speaking not only for himself, but on behalf of his two team mates The “Indian Tiger” Ultimate Nathan and The Flying Dutchman, they will be known from now on as the “Rainbow Nation” and all new comers to the wrestling business are welcome to join their new generation.

This Trio of new comers with a total of 5 matches in total between them were so confident that they are the next big thing in wrestling that they accepted the dementors of chaos’s open challenge for the APWA Tag team titles and just on cue the lights went off and the unforgiving voice of Dirty Jackson came through the air. According to Jackson his partner 2 Face was in a car accident on his way to the arena and was not able to make it so he has organised a stand in partner and the tag titles will still be on the line and we were introduced to 3 Face, otherwise known as Loudmouth with a strangely eerie face paint job on.

Match 1-Dementors Of Chaos vs The Rainbow Nation- APWA Tag Team Championship Match

Dirty Jackson Flying Dutchman

The match itself was an absolute slaughter from the word go, The Ultimate Nathan and Dutch tried to take down Loudmouth with some quick double team moves but were unsuccessful in their quest which was to be expected since Loudmouth has more strength than the both of them combined. Once Dirty Jackson was in he tore them apart piece by piece too making the Rainbow nation’s claims of being the next big thing look like an absolute joke!

The end came when the improvised Dementors Of Chaos got a little too cocky and Dirty Jackson ended up accidentally super kicking Loudmouth and in all the confusion the Rainbow Nation Got the pin over Loudmouth, with Some assistance from their manager SA Face and in an unfathomable incident winning the APWA Tag Team Championships. Three men with less than 3 Months of experience under their belts win the prestigious Tag Titles… I guess that’s why they say anything can happen in Professional Wrestling

Winner: NEW APWA Tag Team Champions- The Rainbow Nation

After the match Dirty Jackson was so distraught that he challenged the winner of tonight’s Winner Take All match to put up the WWP Tag Team titles at the next event in January, where the REAL Dementors of Chaos will be.

After a series of shocking starts to the night it was time for the woman to take the stage, and in a feud where all three woman have been able to get inside each other’s heads it has finally boiled down to a triple threat match

Match 2- Ladies Triple Threat- Alexis vs Jasmine vs Inyanga

Alexis vs Jasmine vs Inyanga

This match was a good back and forth match with each woman having their own style and combinations, Alexis having a very aggressive style but still relying on her speed and smarts, Inyanga showed that she has the knowhow of wrestling by using unusual techniques and moves to trick her opponents and Jasmine also showing scary aggression as well as dominating both of the other woman in the strength department.

The ending came when in an unlikely turn of events the smallest of the three ladies Alexis was able to outsmart the other two and hit a brilliant face buster on Jasmine for the three count and showing her dominance as the Top Diva in the APWA at the moment

Winner: Alexis

The Final match before the break saw A very new and very cocky Zizou Middoux come out to the ring, he was not in his usual party mood nor did he seem to even care about the crowd, it was very daunting seeing this side of Zizou and quite off-putting too, the fans agreed with this statement as they soon started to boo the once beloved Zizou. After some verbal abuse to the guest general manger Errol Weideman, Errol decided to call out a good friend of his, The Wartog Blizzard to teach Zizou a lesson.

Match 3-Zizou Middox vs The Warthog Blizzard

Zizou Middoux vs Blizzard the WarthogThis match was anything but what was expected because along with Zizou’s new attire and attitude came a whole new set of moves, Zizou kept to the ground as much as possible and tried every trick in the book to get Blizzard off his guard, but with the APWA fans along with Errol getting behind Blizzard the Warthog managed to pin “The International” Zizou for the win.

Winner- Blizzard the Warthog

*Break*

After the break we had a hair versus mask match between Christopher James Edwards and Dragon Boy, after months of feuding between these two, tonight we would finally see who was the better, if Dragon lost he must take his mask off and If Christopher Lost he would have his head shaved, after some choice words to the Special Guest General Manager the match could begin

Match 4- Hair vs Mask Match- Christopher James Edwards vs The Dragon Boy

Christopher James Edwards vs The Dragon Boy

CJE got up to his usual tricks in the beginning attacking Dragon Boy from behind before the start of the match but after Dragon Boy got his bearings the match was quick paced and full of back and forth moments, the finish ultimately came when Dragon Boy hit both a frog splash and a spring board moonsault getting him the 1,2,3.

Winner- Dragon Boy

After The match, as via the stipulation Dragon Boy, with assistance from Mohammed the ref, tied CJE to a barber’s chair and humiliated him but cutting off his beard, half his mustache and coving him in shaving cream before cutting out chunks of his hair before hitting CJE across the face with the clippers and ultimately breaking them before CJE was able to escape and run away with his tail between his legs.

The Penultimate match of the night was a best 2 out of 3 falls match for the APWA Heavyweight championship between The Renegade and the APWA Heavyweight Champion Kyle Ripley

Match 5- Best 2 out of 3 falls match for the APWA Heavyweight Championship-The Renegade vs Kyle Ripley

The Renegade vs Kyle Ripley

After months of these two going back and forth this match will finally decide who is the ultimate victor, the match started with Renegade trying to keep the match slow and to his own pace but was denied at every turn by Ripley who was showing off his impressive move set of counters and quick thinking which won him the 1st fall. Not long after restarting for the 2nd fall Renegade found a way to neutralize Ripley’s speed by using his sadistic mind and his strength which won him the 2nd fall and after being tied at one a piece the third fall of the match finally came when Kyle Ripley found a way to hit a devastating flying head butt to Renegade for the final fall to retain his Championship.

Winner- and STILL APWA Champion- Kyle Ripley

The Main Event of the night saw the Triple threat between Vic Scar, Johnny “The Iceman” Sabin and the WWP All Africa Champion “The Lion of Africa” Ananzi.

Through Out the night we have seen videos from all three competitors stating why they think they will win tonight, For Sabin it’s the Glory, for Vic it’s the Fame and for Ananzi It’s the passion

Match 6- Triple Threat Ladder Match-Winner Takes All- WWP All Africa Championship and WWP Tag Team Championship- Vic Scar vs Johnny Sabin vs Ananzi

Vic Scar vs Johnny Sabin vs AnanziWith Sabin and Vic being ex tag team partners you knew they would work together and that’s exactly what they did, that is until Sabin and Ananzi sent Vic through a Ladder in the corner, This Match was action packed and never a dull moment, the fans were enthralled by it every second and the ever looming disasters of the ladders surrounding the ring just made things worse. It wasn’t long before Ananzi wound up tangled in warped steel when I found himself flying towards two ladders set up on the outside that he ended up breaking but the biggest “wow” moment of the night came when Vic Scar was pushed off the top of a ladder through 2 tables that were on the outside which incapacitated for the rest of the match, the end saw Ananzi deliver a Bad Habit to Sabin from atop of the ladder and then climb back up it to retrieve all three titles making himself the WWP All Africa Champion as well as a Single person holding both WWP tag team championships.

Winner- and STILL WWP All Africa Champion and NEW WWP Tag Team

Champion- Ananzi

An amazing night and an incredible show, I would even go so far as to say the best of the year. But now far too many questions remain going into the new year, such as what will The Rainbow Nation do now that they are champions and have a target on their backs? Who will be able to give Alexis a Challenge in the Diva’s division? What will become of the new Zizou Middoux? Where will Dragon Boy go next? Who will be the next challenger for the APWA Heavyweight Championship? Who will Ananzi pick to be his Tag Team Partner? After Scared Ice have been holding the titles for nearly 3 years how will this lose affect the dynamics of the wrestling tag team division? and Finally will Ananzi have to defend both titles on the same night? Well I guess all these will be answered in 2015… till then, Happy New Year ….

A word from ananzi the next day

oh man what a match, this lion still licking wounds after a career ending threating match, c a ladder match is what sets u apart of the rest… A lot of my intensity in wrestling in a ladder match was due to my mental preparation before the match. I got myself into a different world. U c there’s always ways of motivating yourself to higher levels. U can write about it, dream about it. But after that, turn it into action. Don’t just dream, do it!!! More enduringly than any other sport, wrestling teaches self-control and pride. Some have wrestled without great skill but none have wrestled without pride. exactually what my self vic scar and ice man did we kept our heads up and our chests out but one thing Vic Scar Vikus Scar Enslin and Johnny Sabin never knew, is the fact that a Title aren’t really made of gold. They’re made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts. one thing scared ice lack of guts… Once again i came out as the best there is in this African continent, this time respect was earned;;
